Customs procedures (legalizations) branch

The transport and customs processes are handled by professionals from the company’s custom cargo services department: customs declaration officers, brokers, transportation managers, managers working in customs and licensing warehouses, and others. Altogether the team has 35 members, each of whom was specifically trained by the company here and abroad.

The company provides registration of a full range of cargo in any custom regime in all the cargo sections of Boryspil and Kyiv regional customs. Ost-West Express also advises its clients about the Custom Law of Ukraine and assists in preparing corresponding documents. Upon the client’s request, the company also receives, from various state institutions, the permissions needed for custom registration.

The company also maintains a custom post and terminal on its territory. Twelve custom officials working there every day check up to 20 trucks. This way, trucks carrying cargo to the company’s custom and licensing warehouse or to Ost-West Express’ Custom Cargo Complex receive a complete custom registration on the spot, without traveling to other custom divisions. This significantly shortens registration time.

Given a “regime of assistance for external economic activity” in 2001 in accordance with Order # 80 of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, Ost-West Express delivers assorted ladings on a shuttle service from Ukraine to Europe and back. This is done on a door-to-door basis, and within 10-15 days.
